West Branch midfielder, defender, and goalie Julia Herring has been chosen as the Warrior Watch’s female athlete of the week for the week ending 9/16/18. Herring assisted the Lady Warriors in their victory over the Mo-Valley Damsels on Thursday 9/13/18. Julia played a hard 50 minutes on defense and in the midfield holding the Damsels to only 2 goals before having to finish the game in goal replacing Sarah Betts. Herring came up with many key saves including a direct free kick that would have tied the game early in the second half. Julia is a vital part of the Lady Warriors roster and has shown her capability of playing any position.
