Male Athlete of the Week: Logan Folmar

Logan Folmar is a strong contributor to the Warrior Wrestling team.

Logan Folmar is the Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on January 14th. He is a senior on the Warrior Wrestling team and competes in the 179 weight class. Logan projects going to Districts after placing seventh last season. Logan has been consistent throughout this wrestling season. He has contributed a lot to the team’s success. 

Against Moshannon Valley, Logan pinned his opponent in 3:01. This year at the Claysburg-Kimmel duals, Logan went 4-1, contributing to the team ending the day in fourth place. At the Mountaineer Classic, Logan also went 4-1 on the day. During Trojan Wars, Logan pinned the tournament’s number-one seed in the quarterfinals. Logan ended up placing sixth overall. In the most recent match against Conemaugh Township, Logan pinned his opponent in only 39 seconds. As Logan continues benefiting the team, we anticipate his further success this season.
