Emily Parks is Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 01/28/23. Emily is a senior starter for the Lady Warrior Basketball team and plays post guard. She joined basketball in the eighth grade and has been a competitive defensive force ever since. Emily has helped the team on both sides of the ball to improve to an overall record of 12-6 so far for the season.
Head Coach Justin Koleno says, “Emmie has been an important part of our team all year. Sometimes you won’t see her name in the paper, but her impact is always felt during the game. Her speed and anticipation often forces turnovers for the other team, and she is one of the best rebounders we have.”
