Female Athlete of the Week: Emmie Parks

Emmie Parks, a senior, has been named Female Athlete of the Week of Warrior Watch for the week ending 03/25/23. Parks has returned for her senior season after an injury her junior year, restricting her from running. At the Tyrone meet, she placed first in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.72 seconds. Unfortunately, due to unstable weather, the meet was called to an end before competitors could complete all the events.

Teammate Payten Johnson said, “I am so excited to run track with Emmie again this year and watch her improve on the hurdles.

Biggest goal for the season: To take three steps in between hurdles.
