Maya Havens is graduating from West Branch Area High School alongside the Class of 2023. She played soccer as a child and joined again for one year. Her favorite memory from school was helping out in the Life Skills room. Maya had two staff members that have had the most positive impact on her, Mrs. Galley and Mr. Holenchik. Maya said, “They were two of the few people to see more than just a bad kid. When they looked at me they saw me for who I could be and pushed me to be where I am today.” After high school, she plans to take a gap year to finish building a house.

Hobbies: Gardening, riding dirtbikes, riding four-wheelers, and rescuing animals

Advice to underclassmen: “Keep your circle small it is better in the long run.”
