Haley Woodling has been selected for the Warrior Watch Female Athlete of Week, for the week ending on 11/02/2024. Woodling is the right side hitter for Warriors who has tallied 142 kills this season. She is second on the team in aces with 80 and has an impressive 91.3% serve percentage this season. This past weekend, Woodling and the Warriors won their 3rd straight District 6 title  defeating Northern Cambria three sets to one, where she had one of her best games of the season with 14 kills. She also came up huge in the game prior against Bishop Carroll with 9 kills. Teammate Brielle Bainey shared how Woodling has contributed to the team’s success this season. Bainey mentioned, “Haley is one of our key players. She has a very high volleyball IQ and very good placements.” Hitting isn’t the only skill Woodling brings to the table, as Bainey added, “She’s also a very big blocker, which scares the opponents’ outsides.” Woodling and the Warriors hope to make a deep run in the PIAA state playoffs.
