Female Athlete of the Week

Taylor Myers has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 9/8/19. She is being recognized for her efforts in helping the Lady Warriors to a runner-up finish in the Central Mountain Tournament on Saturday, August 31st, 2019.

Taylor has been playing volleyball since she was in 6th grade. She says “I like the feeling of hitting front row”. Her goal for this season is to win ICC and make it to the district 6 championships.

Facts About Taylor:

Grade: 11

Sports: Volleyball and Track

Parents: Bill and Vicki Myers

Future Plans: Go to college for a degree in the health field.

Favorite Food: Crab Legs

Favorite TV Show: Greys Anatomy

Favorite Genre of Music: Country

Favorite Hobby Besides Sports: Singing and hanging out with friends.

My name is Mercedes Nearhood. I am a senior and  I participate in various activities including band, Warrior Watch, Envirothon, and student government. I am also the leader of the auditorium tech crew, president of the drama club, and the student school board representative. In my future, I would like to go to college, get a job in IT, and live in a house full of plants.
