Isaac Tiracorda has been selected as Warrior Watch’s Male Athlete of The Week for the week ending on 5/27/22. Isaac is a sophomore for the Warrior baseball team, and starts as the catcher. Isaac has been playing baseball for 12 years. The boys finished their season with a record 13-7, and Tiracorda played a major role in their winning record. This season, Tiracorda had a batting average of .419, 26 hits and 2 home runs.
Teammate, Luke Liptak, says “He’s been a good lead off guy all year. He is always on base and will hit a homerun every once in a while. He’s also been the center of our defense behind the plate. We played 20 games and he was back there every game. He was a wall everyday and shut down runners on the base paths.”
