Female Athlete of the Week: Carsyn Wesesky

Senior Carsyn Wesesky has been selected as the Warrior Watch Female Athlete of the Week ending on 4/14. On Tuesday, the Lady Warriors defeated Juniata Valley 4-0. Carsyn had 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and a home run. 

On Wednesday, the Lady Warriors beat Tyrone 9-4. Carsyn had 2 hits and 2 RBIs again on Wednesday. On the season, Carsyn is batting .308 with 4 hits and 5 RBIs. She also leads the team in RBIs. The Lady Warriors are now 5-1 on the season. 

Sophomore Haley Woodling commented on Carsyn’s impact on the team. “Carsyn has a very positive impact on our team. She brings so much energy and is always the first to lift the mood. Carsyn is excellent at first base and in the circle. She is great to have in the lineup and she drives in runs. Carsyn plays a very important role in our teams’ success,” Haley stated.

Carsyn and the Lady Warriors are back in action on Tuesday, April 23 traveling to take on the Glendale Lady Vikings.
