Senior Greysyn Gable has been selected as the Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on 4/26/24. Greysyn was selected because of her stand-out performance behind the plate for all three games in the week, having a 0.714 batting average, and earning her 100th career hit which just so happened to be on a home run.

On Tuesday, the Lady Warriors beat the Glendale Lady Vikings with an ending score of 8-3, where Greysyn collected four hits. On Thursday, The Lady Warriors defeated the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs with a score of 9-0. Greysyn had 3 hits, with the last one being a home run as well as her milestone hit. Lastly, on Friday, the Lady Warriors rallied against Portage winning 6-4 where Greysyn had two doubles. Teammate sophomore Haley Woodling stated,” Greysyn is very dominant at the plate and constantly drives runs in. She blocks balls very well which makes stolen bases very rare against us. Greysyn is a major aspect of our team and is also a great leader.”
